Commerce City, CO -- An SUV collided with the back of a semi-truck early Sunday morning, killing the SUV driver.
At 7:59 AM, the Commerce City police department arrived at the intersection of Valentina Street and East 56th Avenue, the scene of the accident. There were no other passengers in the SUV and the semi driver was not injured.
The semi was sitting at a red light at the intersection when the SUV driver approached at high speed. The SUV was traveling west when it collided with the semi.
So far, the Adam’s County coroner has not released the SUV driver’s identity.
