Colorado Springs, CO -- A truck crashed into a motorcycle on Monday night, leaving the motorcyclist seriously injured.
The crash occurred in south Colorado Springs at the intersection of Cheyenne Road and Corona Avenue. Both the westbound truck and the eastbound motorcycle were driving on Cheyenne Road. The truck began to turn left onto Corona Avenue and collided with the motorcycle in the intersection.
Police officers were called and arrived at the crash scene around 7:30 PM. The motorcyclist appeared to be badly injured and was soon transported to a nearby hospital. The truck driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
Police are still investigating the factors involved in the collision. Authorities have not released the identities of the drivers at this time.
