Denver, CO -- The Colorado State Patrol reported a four-vehicle crash on Monday morning.
The crash occurred at the intersection of S. Parker Road and S. Chambers Road and involved a Ford F-150, a Mercedes SUV, a Mercury sedan and a Nissan.
The CSP said the crash happened early on Monday and caused the intersection to remain closed until about 9:15 AM.
The 54-year-old driver of the Nissan died in the crash. He was from Aurora, but the CSP has not released his identity. At least three other individuals sustained injuries in the crash.
The driver of the Ford did not sustain injuries, and CSP arrested them at the crash scene. No charges have been filed yet. Reports indicate that drugs or alcohol are not considered crash factors.
