Why Was Erik Oldham Convicted?
Erik Oldham, the former gymnastics coach and owner/operator of A+ Athletics was accused of child sexual abuse related to his athletics program by a victim in late 2021, who alleged he had used his position as a trusted person to manipulate and sexually assault them. He was arrested in May 2022.
Multiple charges were brought against Erik Oldham, including:

- Sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust

He pleaded guilty to all nine charges. On April 5, 2024, a jury found him guilty, but the specific guilty charges included in the conviction were not immediately announced to the public. He will be sentenced in July 2024 and is currently on no-bond hold at Arapahoe County Jail.
